Ingham County Health Department

Child and Adolescent Health Centers offer the following confidential services to mature minors: 

• Pregnancy testing
• Sexually transmitted infection (STI) and HIV screenings, treatment and counseling
• Substance abuse education, counseling, and referrals
• Crisis intervention and emergency care
• Mental health assessment, counseling, and referrals
• Physical/sexual abuse counseling and referrals

Licensed Social Workers offer screening and assessment for a variety of behavioral health issues facing adolescents today. Comprehensive screening and assessments are available to individual patients at each of our Health Centers and to members of the community.

Child and Adolescent Health Centers host evidence-based workshops for students and community partners around STIs/contraception, nutrition, bullying, dating violence, depression & suicide, and homeless prevention. All workshops are at no cost and are available to the community.

Family Planning (birth control and contraceptive) services are available ONLY at Willow Health Center. Child and Adolescent Health Centers also provide services for the whole family, including free Medicaid Enrollment Assistance and appointment scheduling for medical or dental services for all ages through Ingham Community Health Centers.

Global Consent: This form gives your consent for treatment at our Health Centers, billing for services, and sharing of healthcare information in the event that you decide to receive behavioral healthcare with us.
